Procurement

The Port of Philadelphia is an equal opportunity employer. Bidders must comply with all applicable Equal Employment Opportunity laws and regulations.

Bidders must provide to the Procurement Department, in writing, the names of the individuals that will be attending Pre-Bid meetings. This information is needed twenty-four (24) hours prior to the meeting.

PhilaPort encourages the attendance of qualified diverse subcontractors at our pre-bid meetings. Join us and network with prime contractors!

PhilaPort has always been committed to diversity in the awarding of contracts. It’s very important to us that minority-owned, women-owned and other historically underutilized businesses have a fair seat at the table. We’re currently developing a comprehensive diversity outreach program to intensify our commitment. We want to expand the array of major contractors PhilaPort engages, and we want our major contractors to be aware of the vast network of subcontractors at their disposal.

To learn more about the Diversity Outreach Program, click here.

It is mandatory for any person requiring unescorted access onto PhilaPort facilities to possess a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).

For more information about TWIC, go to the TWIC Website or call the Help Desk at 1-866-347-8942.

Any contractor wishing to subcontract any portion of work under any contract at PhilaPort will need to submit a signed copy of the following Rider to Subcontract Agreement prior performing any work.
