The 45-foot channel accommodates larger vessels, enhancing cargo movement and strengthening the Delaware River’s role in global commerce.
Dray Truck Program
Funding assistance helps dray truck owners serving Pennsylvania and Delaware ports replace older vehicles with cleaner, lower-emission models.
Jack’s Marina
Once slated for commercial development, this site was restored through PhilaPort’s efforts to include valuable wetland habitat.
Broadkill Beach
Strengthened using beneficially reused material from the Delaware River Main Channel Deepening Project.
PWPM Recycling Program
PWPM’s recycling facility diverts cardboard, pallets, plastics, and organic waste from landfills through sustainable processing.
Marshall Island
A 141-acre Delaware River island preserved as habitat for migratory birds and native wildlife.
