Modernizing the Chain of Operations
Port operations rely on a connected chain of equipment and movement. As equipment reaches the end of its useful life, PhilaPort is working to replace eligible diesel-powered equipment with zero-emission alternatives, supported by federal and state funding.
By modernizing its equipment across the chain of operations, PhilaPort is reducing emissions and improving air quality for its worker and neighbors.

These investments will support the development of a comprehensive zero-emission strategy, including:
