Sunday, July 16, 2023 ― It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of a great loss to our PhilaPort family. Joe Petruzzi passed away Sunday, July 16, 2023. Joe worked for the Port for 22 years as Director of Information Services. Joe was truly a special person. We will miss his smile, his laugh, his big personality, but most of all, we will miss our friend. Joe was an active member of the Philadelphia port community, and we know this loss will be felt tremendously throughout. Our hearts go out to Joe’s family and friends, we wish them comfort and peace during this difficult time. Joe will forever be a part of our PhilaPort family.
