PhilaPort Announces New Director of Government & Public Affairs

Philadelphia, February 28, 2022 —

PhilaPort is pleased to announce Ryan T. Mulvey as its new Director of Government & Public Affairs effective today, February 28th.

Mulvey comes to PhilaPort with fifteen years of management experience, having held chief of staff positions in both the Pennsylvania Senate and Pennsylvania House of Representatives. Mulvey also worked for the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Mulvey’s extensive experience in the 5^th Senatorial District and the House has well equipped him with the knowledge needed to serve as PhilaPort’s Director of Government & Public Affairs. In his new role, Mr. Mulvey will be PhilaPort’s liaison with Federal, state, and local elected leaders and other public officials. We welcome Mr. Mulvey as an important addition to our leadership team.

Mulvey is a graduate of West Chester University with his degree in political science.

PhilaPort, The Port of Philadelphia, is an independent agency of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania charged with the management, maintenance, marketing and promotion of publicly-owned port facilities along the Delaware River in Philadelphia, as well as strategic planning throughout the port district.
