PhilaPort Sees 28% Increase Over July 2020

28% increase in container volumes over July 2020

Philadelphia, August 23, 2021 —

The Port of Philadelphia (PhilaPort) handled a total of 66,087 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) in July. Growing 28% compared to July 2020.  

Year-to-Date TEU volumes have improved 17% to 417,716 TEUs, with imports growing 19% and exports 15%.

Auto volumes were 110,246 units, up 7% over YTD July 2021.
